my 19th birthday!!

hey!!! it was my birthday yesterday (april 16th) so i thought i should make a little blog post talking abt what i did!!

my birthday celebrations technically started on the 15th, when i went to a movie with my friend and sister! we went and watched drop, and it was SO GOOD!!! im not a huge thriller watcher, but drop was such a fun theatre experience. i wont put any spoilers here, but i reviewed the movie on letterboxd if you wanna hear more of my thoughts on it :))!

starting on my actual birthday, my sister, mum, grandma, and i went to a local diner (that i love sm) for some brunch! then, we all went to a different restaurant for happy hour since this is my first year drinking legally! i got a drink that wasnt bad, but honestly it was kinda boring lmao. after that, we went to build-a-bear! well, technically only me and my sister went, while my mum and grandma did some shopping elsewhere in the mall. i hadnt gone to build-a-bear since i was a rly little kid, so it was a lot of fun going back!! i got a pompompurin, and my sister got a badtz-maru :)) she dressed hers in his overalls, and i put pompompurin in a rly cute outfit of a knitted sweater with a bear on the front, khaki shorts, and some brown boots! for dinner, i went to old spaghetti factory with my mum, my dad, my sister, my grandma, my other grandma, and my grandpa, but i started getting tired and overwhelmed, so we left a little bit early and went home. when we were home, me and my mum watched its whats inside, and that movie was also so fucking good!! and i also reviewed it on letterboxd lmao.

i also got a few gifts!! on the 15th, my sister gave me my gift early since they were secondhand cds and she wanted to make sure they worked lmao. the cds were weird als food album, backstreet boys' as long as you love me, and music from and inspired by M:I-2!! on my actual birthday, my mum gave me the lego bamboo set, funko pops of venus from sailor moon, and el and mike from stranger things, along with a rly cool notebook, jugheads beanie from riverdale, a pair of shark socks, a hello kitty mcdonalds toy, and a little kuromi figurine!! my grandma got me three cds: avril lavignes let go, chappell roans the rise and fall of a midwest princess, and the deadpool and wolverine soundtrack!!! at dinner, my other grandma gave me some chocolate (that i can actually eat since its vegan!) and some pairs of socks :) i also got money from my mum and both grandmas which is rad lmao. my dad also got me flowers at dinner which is actually rly sweet!!

anyways, i had a pretty good 19th birthday, and im rly grateful for my friends and family <33333
